Cosplay Contact Lens Duration

How often you cosplay will influence your decision on the duration of your lenses. Choose a single-use daily pair of cosplay lenses if you are wearing your costume for a one-off occasion or choose reusable cosplay lenses if you regularly dress as a certain character. 

The benefit of reusable contact lenses is that they are more cost effective per wear but you do need to make sure they are properly maintained. Rinse your lenses with contact lens solution after every wear and store them in fresh contact lens solution in an air-tight case. 30 day lenses are slightly thicker so they can last for multiple uses which some people find easier to handle.

The benefit of single-use daily lenses is that they don’t need cleaning after use; you can simply throw them away in your normal household waste. Don’t flush them down the toilet or the sink. Daily lenses are ultra lightweight and thin, to keep your eyes feeling fresh.

For any type of soft cosplay contacts from Crazy Lenses, you will need to soak them for at least 2 hours before use in fresh contact lens solution as the storage solution is a higher concentration than normal contact lens solution. Pick up a case and solution bottle from Crazy Lenses. For any duration of our cosplay lenses, you can wear them for up to 8 hours per day. It is important to pay attention to the duration of your contact lenses to keep your eyes fresh and safe. All our lenses are made with breathable materials to help your eyes stay fresh all day.

Cosplay Colour Contact Lenses

It can feel like you are getting bogged down with information before you have even started wearing your cosplay contact lenses but once you are clued up on the safety information, you can enjoy choosing your dream pair of cosplay lenses. 

There are literally hundreds of options that span from natural to costume designs as well as a variety of shades and eye types. Some cosplay characters have very specific eye designs while others can be achieved with a universal style, making them more versatile.

Blue Cosplay Lenses generally fall into two categories - natural and costume. Costume blue contact lenses feature very bright, usually block blue pigmentation to completely cover your natural iris. They are available in a range of shades starting with icy aqua all the way to deep royal blue. The costume blue lenses sometimes have other features such as a contrasting limbal ring or details to the iris. The most popular blue cosplay lenses include Ice Walker Blue, Manson Blue, and Wizard Blue.

When you are buying natural lenses, make sure to consider how the design may blend with your eye colour. For example, if you have a dark eye colour such as brown choose highly pigmented blue lenses.

From snake eyes to witches eyes, there are a range of characters to cosplay with green eyes.
