We loved all of these looks equally; it’s been amazing to see the talented and creative work produced with our lenses! In this blog, we will unfortunately have to stick to our crazy highlights, as we would be here a while if we were to feature everyone's complete creepy makeup collections! If you’d like to see more of these artists or their work, follow us @crazylensesnow on Instagram, Facebook, and @CrazyLenses on TikTok.
We can’t get over the perfect blend of life-like painting and pop-art style in this amazing yet terrifying zombie face paint by @ohamarie. Using the Blind White lenses, this look involves the most classic zombie archetypes, with desiccated flesh and a lime green pallor. This zombie looks as if it’s popped right off the page or out of the cartoon into real life, and we can’t get enough! If you want to create a unique, creepy makeup look, why not add some vintage stylistic choices to your look?
Another unbeatable classic look from @makeupart_byjulie; witches are a Halloween staple, and Julie perfectly blends the sense of danger and beauty in this fantastical look! The pale makeup is brought to life by the dark green contour, placed just right to bring a green hue and depth to the face. The bright purple eye makeup stands out, ideal for a witchy character, and highlights the green tones in the skin and the Hulk Green contact lenses! We love the contrast between the green lenses and skin tones, and the purple shades in the eyeshadow. The look is tied together with the gothic black lipstick and long black wig, enshrouding the face for an extra mysterious touch. Gothic and glamorous, this witchy makeup look perfectly combines a sense of mysticism and beauty for Halloween.
@evelinasilova_makeup also uses the blind contact lenses in this amazing Sarah Screams cosplay! Once again, the white of the lenses is the perfect contrast to the light blue face paint. Darker paint is used for the contours, helping to create depth and bright highlights. The bold blue lip also adds the perfect pop of contrast to the lime green shirt and headband! We love this high-contrast, eye-catching costume. The blind lenses are perfect for adding a cartoonish effect.
Our blind contact lenses will obscure your vision and make it very difficult to see in low lighting. These lenses are perfect for a spooky photoshoot, but we definitely wouldn’t recommend wearing them out of the house or to a party. Do NOT wear these lenses whilst driving. If you want the shock factor of a completely white eye but clear vision, we recommend the Zombie White contact lenses; these coloured contact lenses have a clear pupil hole, so your vision won’t be obscured.
@emilymakeupartistry has been blowing us away with her Halloween looks this year; one of our faves is her ‘Victorian Vampire’ look. The soft hair and gothically glamorous lip create a refined look, contrasting perfectly with the powerful eyebrow prosthetics. This look perfectly blends the demonic nature of the vampire with a sultry appearance, serving Dracula’s wife's realness. The red face and body paint, trickles of fake blood, and vibrant yellow contact lenses all lend to a demonic appearance, and you can see why tales of vampires used to inspire such dread!
Topical costumes are always a fun nod to pop culture, and any events that took the world of social media by storm over the year. We’ve seen plenty of Labubus and classic robbers in black-and-white stripes during October. But we love @kierahclarke’s take on the spookiest news of the year. The Annabelle doll, an infamous relic whether you believe it’s truly haunted by a demonic spirit or not, shook up social media back in May when it was reported missing. Whilst eventually proven not to be true, we loved the drama of this doll potentially being on the loose! This haunted Annabelle doll look by @kierahclarke is super creepy, appearing as if she’s actually wearing a porcelain mask; however, it's all in the power of the contour, the deep shadows creating a 3D effect around the jaw and chin, in the dimples, and around the eyes. This character cosplay costume features our blue contact lenses; the vibrant royal blue is perfect for adding a doll-like quality to the eyes. When people lock eyes with you, you’re sure to give them a scare with this makeup!
@makeupby_esc transforms herself into another famous doll with this Jigsaw-inspired makeup look. @makeupby_esc uses prosthetics to achieve the odd, protruding shapes on Jigsaw’s face, and the Red Mini Sclera lenses perfectly match the red paint on the face! The bright red lenses also ensure the eyes pop, even with the heavy brow prosthetic, helping to keep the face balanced.
Or, take a step back from reality and costumes inspired by characters; get creative and create a fantastical costume based on a mythical and legendary creature next Halloween! @emilymartistry is breathtaking in this siren-inspired costume, with aquamarine face and body paint, pearls, and Black Mini Sclera lenses. Mini sclera contact lenses are great for creating an otherworldly and alien-looking costume, highlighting the difference with an unnatural eye shape. For a siren costume, we would also recommend a slit-pupil or cat-eye lens design!
A costume like an alien, siren, fairy, or other mythical being means that you can be as creative as you want, with as much effort as you want! It’s all up to interpretation what these beings could look like, so let yourself run wild in creating a fun and totally unique look!
