Traditional and Easy Halloween Costumes

@makeupby_esc killed this demonic look! You can go all out and add prosthetic horns to take this terrifying yet traditional devil costume even further, or you can simplify it to suit your skill level. If you’re wondering how to apply prosthetic makeup, here’s a quick run-down:
 

• Apply the glue to the area of your skin where you want the prosthetic to go. Make sure this glue is safe for your skin; check out our supply of Paintglow Spirit Gum, which is great for prosthetics but easy to wash off! 
• Let the glue dry down before applying another thin layer both to the skin and to the base of the prosthetic. 
• Wait until this glue is tacky (typically 20-30 seconds) before firmly placing the prosthetic on the skin. Hold it down to help it stick, and then you’re done! 

SFX makeup and prosthetics are a great way to elevate a simple Halloween makeup. Add cuts and gashes to a final girl outfit with some fake blood for a spooky, realistic effect, or add prosthetics like horns for the perfect monstrous costume.

In this look, @makeupby_esc is using one of our Mesh White Costume Contact Lenses and one of our Cosplay Yellow Costume Contact Lenses for an inhuman and blinded effect. As the mesh design includes small, clear squares, these lenses are great for a spooky look whilst retaining more visibility! Your vision will still be impaired, however not as much as by the blind contact lenses. We still recommend taking caution when wearing any sort of lenses that obscure some (if not all) of your vision.
